45 days and a pregnancy later...

It's been awhile, hasn't it?

I started Plexus Slim on 5/14 and found out I was pregnant on 5/28.  After speaking with my doctor, she advised to lay off the product because of the lack of research on its impact on fetal development.

Fast forward a month and a half.

I am no longer pregnant (sad face) but I am back on the Plexus train (happy face.)

I started up again 7/6/2013.  One Pink Drink in the morning, an accelerator after breakfast and an accelerator after lunch.

I'm already noticing a change for the better in my energy level, although some of that can be attributed to the loss of the baby.  Those little guys will drain you!

For the last two nights, I've had sleeping issues.  Yesterday morning I woke up at 3:30am and couldn't go back to sleep.  This morning I woke up at 12:30am and I'm writing this entry at 3:30am.  This will not do.

I am now a non-smoker.  After over 10 years, I never thought I could quit but that positive test had me throwing my pack in the trash.  And now I just don't want to pick up a cigarette.  Ick.

Lookie here... In my 30s and "feeling" better than I did in my 20s.  Now it's time the outside matched the inside.

Introduction & End of Week One

Welcome to my blog!  I am a 32 year old woman living/working/dreaming in Houston, TX and I am happy that you found my page.

I have struggled with weight for as long as I can remember, except for all four years of high school (1995-1999) and two years after my divorce in 2008.

I have always been able to lose and gain weight very quickly.  A few years ago, I lost 70 lbs due to exercise and hardly ever eating.  I was in a period of my life which I now remember unfondly as the "Great Depression".  I got over it and... the weight slowly creeped back up.

Fast forward to 2012.  I decide to make a change in my lifestyle and get my ass back in the gym.  4 months of vigorous 4:45am wake-up alarms during the weekdays, 45 minute cardio-fueled workouts in the morning and I lost a few pounds.  Maybe 4.  I was livid.

I went back to being lethargic and gained the 4 pounds back, plus some.  I'm 5'10 and I carry extra weight well but I don't want to be 250 lbs anymore.  My face is a marshmallow, my boobs are ginormous and my thighs get sweaty and rub together when I'm wearing a dress.  Ick.

A few months ago, my friend began selling a weight loss solution called Plexus Slim.  She was adamant about how it helped her chronic pain, as well as lose a bit of weight.  I was not interested as I had tried "diet pills" before (i.e. Hydroxicut and a few others I can't remember the name of right now.)  After she kept on me for a few weeks, I began my own research into other people's success stories with this product.  I still found the price to be quite steep but I was reminded that I have repeated the mantra, "I would give anything to be thin and healthy", and if this were true, I could afford to spend my money to meet my goal.

I have just completed the first week on Plexus Slim "The Pink Drink" and Plexus Accelerator.  I couldn't be happier with my energy level and results.  In 7 days, I have lost 3.2 lbs and 1-7/8" total from the key areas I am measuring.

I look forward to keeping you updated about my results.  I have pledged the next 12 weeks to this product.  Yes, it is a lot of money.  Yes, I could use the money for other *really needed* items but I feel my health is worth it.  Plus... I just want to feel attractive once again.
